WILL BEINBRINK (Troy) is excited to be part of the world premiere of Caught. Recent guest appearances include Castle, It's Always Sunny in Philadephia, The Unit, Numbers, The Ex-List, and the Lifetime TV movie Justice for Natalee. Recent feature film credits include Love Gloria, The City of Dust, The Watermelon, and Greatest Bathrooms In Los Angeles. On stage, he just completed a run of Brooklyn USA. He has also performed in Merchant of Venice at Seattle Shakes, Sea Change at LA Gay & Lesbian Center, Elvis Test at the Elephant, Twelfth Night at LA Shakespeare Festival, Arms & The Man and The Shape of Things at Barrington Stage. He is thrilled to be working with such a wonderful cast and crew. Graduate: The Juilliard School.

 

JASON DECHERT (Kenneth)is thrilled to join the cast of Caught. He recently starred as John Buchanan in A Noise Within's production of Eccentricities of a Nightingale. Other Los Angeles credits: Great Expectations, Measure for Measure. New York stage credits include: Vera Laughed (world premiere), New York Stage and Film; Kicking Up Dust (world premiere), A Midsummer Night's Dream, Six Degrees of Separation, The Three Sisters, Journey of the Fifth Horse, La Ronde, Bus Stop, Twelfth Night, and more at NYU. Other regional credits: Hamlet, Handing Down the Names, The Barber of Seville, As You Like It, and more. Recent film and television work: Medium, L'Affaire d'Honneur, Electric Spoofaloo. He received his training from Vanderbilt University (B.A.) and NYU's Graduate Acting Program (M.F.A.). He would like to thank everyone at Caught for welcoming him into this loving family.

 

AMANDA KASCHAK (Krystal) is proud to join the cast and crew for her first world premiere. She has been in the theatre for 12 years, performed in over 30 productions, three national commercials, and is a member of SAG. Training: USC BFA Acting program, Second City Chicago, Clarence Brown Theatre. Recent credits: The Crucible, Our Country's Good, Three Penny Opera, Trojan Women, Recent Tragic Events. Amanda thanks her family, friends, cast, crew, and mentors for inspiration and support.

 

MICAH McCAIN (Splenda). Fresh from his critically acclaimed performance as Hunter in the Los Angeles premiere production of [title of show], Micah is ecstatic to be originating the role of Splenda in the world premiere of Caught. This SoCal native's one-man shows: Dance: 10, Looks: 203lbs (Critics Choice); Unshaven! (Best Bet!) and Hope, Dating and Other Things I Gave Up For Lent…(Must See!) have been seen Coast to Coast, while he has sung and danced his way into work with Tony Dow, Marcia Wallace and Pauley Perrette in The Adventures of Della The Dwarf, opened for and performed with Judy Tenuta, Cyndi Lauper and Julie Brown (to name a few), hosted and performed at The Improv, Caesar's Palace, The House of Blues and multiple times onstage at The Hollywood Bowl. Among his TV and film credits are: The Gossip Queens, Kath & Kim, Las Vegas, Chelsea Lately, The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green, BASEketball and NYPD Blue. IAN VOGT (J.P.) is honored to join the wonderful cast of Caught. He most recently performed in Of Grapes and Nuts at the Victory Theatre. Chicago theatre credits include Macbeth, Henry V at Chicago Shakespeare; Long Day's Journey into Night (Joseph Jefferson Citation), The Flight of the Phoenix, Much Ado About Nothing, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Measure for Measure, Rope, and Andre's Mother. Some of his Televison and Film credits include The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Without A Trace, Everwood, Scrubs, Cupid, Early Edition, Too Much Flesh, and The Parlor. TERRANCE ELTON (u/s - J.P.) is an actor and screenwriter living in Los Angeles. A graduate of the Professional Actors Conservatory, he has performed in numerous theatrical productions including Romeo and Juliet at the Knightsbridge Theatre, The Cherry Orchard with Mean Street Ensemble, and The Toilet and Violencia with Bright Lucifer. As a co-founder of the critically acclaimed LA theatre group nom de guerre, he performed in the company's inaugural production of Pains of Youth, and was an actor/co-creator of the improvisationally developed plays Stay Sweet Stay Happy and Out of Time. Film credits include Totally Sexy Loser, The Middleman, and 3 Days In LA. Most recently seen on Television as "Det. Homes" in Usual Suspects and onstage in Pacific Resident Theatre's critically acclaimed Lions. Z is his first full-length screenplay.


DEREK MEEKER (u/s - Troy). A former lawyer and dean of admissions for the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Derek moved to LA in 2006 to pursue his true vocation: acting. He has performed off-Broadway as an original cast member of The Columbine Project and in numerous plays throughout the Los Angeles theatre community. Television credits include All My Children, Twins by Surprise, LA Forensics and North Mission Road. Film credits include 3 Day Weekend and indie short films First Light and Fade to Red. Commercial credits include Budweiser, Yamaha, Kia Motors, Canon, the Disney Channel and Skil Tools.

 

MATT PITTENGER (u/s - Kenneth / Splenda) is originally from Cardiff by the Sea, California. He received his B.A. in theatre from San Diego State University and went on to study in Oxford, England at the British American Dramatic Arts (BADA). He moved to L.A. in 2005 and currently resides in Venice with his wife Sarah. Most recently he appeared on stage in An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein that played to all sold-out houses and wrapped the short film The Perfect Meal. He is playing the lead role in the film The Myth of Perfection, currently in production. Matt has been writing and performing sketch comedy for years, formerly with the Blow Show Co., Straight Jacket Society, and Sketch Camp featured at Comedy Central. Some of his training in L.A. includes The Groundlings, Aaron McPherson, Patsy Rodenburg, and Larry Moss. He also teaches acting to kids and recently started a class for teens. Matt is honored to be a part of Caught and thanks the cast and crew for all their support.

 

SAVANNAH SOUTHERN-SMITH (u/s - Krystal) recently graduated from the USC School of Theatre. Last summer, she played Snug the Joiner in the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum's Midsummer Night's Dream and also appeared in The Cherry Orchard and Julius Caesar. Her favorite credits from university include Mrs. Peachum in The Threepenny Opera and Lizaveta in A Month in the Country, and a singing Greek Chorus member in Mark Wing-Davey's production of Hecabe at BADA. Savannah is a founding member of Bowling for Tiffany sketch comedy group.
